Our Clinician

Ben Chitsaz holds a Bachelor of Science (Kinesiology) degree, and has been Canadian Board Certified (“C.B.C.”) as a Prosthetist since 1993 and Orthotist since 1996. Strict ethical guidelines govern the members of the C.B.C., and all members must adhere to rigorous national standards. All certifies must demonstrate continuous upgrading of their skills and knowledge to maintain their certification. Ben’s Kinesiology background gives him an added dimension in assessing his patients for possible orthotic or prosthetic management. His extensive knowledge of human function and locomotion enables him to assess each patient and their condition, optimize prescription criteria and ultimately functional outcomes.

Our clinician has extensive knowledge and experience with fitting and managing all levels of prosthetics, sports, pediatric and geriatric bracing. He is at the forefront of clinical practice, and embraces new technologies and enhances service opportunities through continuing education and attending national and international conventions.
